I had the most heartwarming experience with my family at Thanksgiving last year. We always have a dozen or so people at our table, and I brought out Flying Wish Paper® with our coffee and dessert. We each wrote down something that we were thankful for, and then we lit our wishes and watched as they all rose up together. It was so beautiful. There wasn’t a dry eye at the table.
—Barbara Curby, Springfield, ILI’m a certified yoga instructor and I love using Flying Wish Paper with my students. Many times I begin my classes with a bit of centering and breath awareness to get rid of all that emotional clutter; you know, the stuff upstairs! In addition to the breathing techniques I often talk about the importance of learning to let go. I use Flying Wish Paper to help encourage the letting go and to show that even though it can be difficult, it’s a beautiful sensation to release. Other times, we just use Flying Wish Paper for wishing…to send up positive offerings and intentions. The student makes the choice of what they need on that particular day. We have a lot of fun, and as the person that leads this special ceremony I feel the energy in the room is positive and enlightening.

Many of my friends and I turned 40 this year and decided to have one big group party together. This age is such a turning point, so I had a couple of ideas for the Flying Wish Paper®. First, we each wrote something we wanted to get rid of – a regret, a bad memory, an idiot boyfriend, anything negative that we wanted to leave behind. We burned those notes and watched them fly out of our lives. Then we each wrote something we were looking forward to – something positive about being 40. This took a little longer! Then we lit the paper and sent our wishes into the sky. It was a super fulfilling experience, and very fun.
—Kimberly Place, New York, NYThere are few things more terrifying than giving a toast at a wedding. I know this from experience. I was recently surprised to be asked yet again to give a toast. This time, I asked everyone to join me by writing a wish for the couple on a piece of the Flying Wish Paper® party favors. It was a great group experience and looked really cool when all the wishes were flying up. The bride and groom and all the wedding guests loved it.
